Wer wir sind – Who we are

We are a group of URI students – from freshman to senior – visiting Germany for two weeks and traveling to Berlin, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen,
Ludwigshafen (am Rhein) and München.

Many of us are IEP or IBP students preparing for their year abroad stay. But ALL of us learn German at URI, from the 100 level up to the 400 level. We will visit some of Germany’s best known companies such as Volkswagen, Merck, BASF, Daimler (Mercedes Benz), ZF, MTU and BMW, but also our partner universities – Braunschweig Technical University and Darmstadt Technical University and the different research departments there.
